Readying for Spring

March 7, 2008

It’s a close race, but I think Spring edges out Summer as my favorite season for a few reasons.  The weather warms up from the chill of winter.  No one complains about it being too hot or too cold.  You can start doing certain outdoor activities more often.  Baseball starts up.  And of course, you can start breaking out parts of your wardrobe that have been sheltered for months in your closet.

Even the least fashion-forward individual lawyer knows that the Fall and Winter time is not the time to be wearing bright, flashy colors to work or while out and about in town.  When the weather starts warming up, I find your clothing choices increase tremendously.  Of course, ideally, you wouldn’t just keep wearing the same clothing each Spring.

For those looking to keep up with the latest fashion trends, or those looking for an opportunity to hang out and drink for free or both, you should note down the fashion show event on April 3, 2008 at the g Lounge, sponsored by the YL Supplement of The Legal Intelligencer.  With any luck, there may not even be an artificial line to wait in outside the club.
