Here is an update on the petition challenges that I found on Fight For Room 215.  This is better than a soap opera.

Challenges, we’ve got your challenges

The game of ballot petition challenges is well underway in Room 280 of City Hall.

I walked in as Damon K. Roberts was filing a challenge to Anna Verna, saying that she failed to list the boards that she serves on and other errors.

As expected, the fourth district has been action packed with Matt McClure filing challenges against both Carol Campbell and Curtis Jones Jr. Campbell’s staffers were in the room preparing to file their own challenges.

Marnie Aument-Loughrey’s petition was challenged in the seventh district race, while Sherrif John Green challenged the petition of Jacque Whaumbush. Then there was a challenge to Scott Cummings’ run for traffic court. Milton Street and Tom Knox’s surrogates both filed challenges against Brady.

UPDATE: Just read McClure’s filing against Campbell…Some pretty weighty stuff, including allegations that her PAC Genesis IV paid for a car and phone bills in Campbell’s name. More later.
